our lil ballerina

last weekend we got to observe aubree in her dance class. typically we just have to let her go to the back with her class and have no idea what if anything they are learning.

of course since there were about 30 parents watching the girls wouldn't do very much but i was very surprised how much aubree has learned!

papaw got aubree this beauty parlor for her birthday!

she and reagan have a ball playing on this thing together cutting and coloring each others hair. its quite hilarious to watch.

she'll sit at this station with elmo on her dvd player beside her and literally play for hours.

papaw fought hard to get her this cause he knew she would love it and she does :)

halloween bash and trick or treating

this past weekend we had a halloween party at our house

for all of aubree's lil friends. we had about 30 plus people crammed into our house! too busy to take very many pics!

the kids had a great time. we had several things set up for them to do.

we had gobs and gobs of food. everyone brought a yummy halloween dish! we played pin the tail on the black cat, painted pumpkins, busted a pinata, and the highlight of the party was the cardboard maze bryan turned our garage into. they LOVED it! told him he'd have to build one every year :)

its that time of year! aubree felt exactly the same this year as

she did last year! she absolutely despised it. said it

was nasty, gross, and ugly were her exact words. so, we didn't take many pictures! after aubree went to bed bryan finished them!

fall~festival

a couple weekends ago we went to a local fall festival here in town!

they had some inflatables, decorating pumpkins, a fire truck, tattoos, etc....

good "free" fall family entertainment :)

shannon and i had a day off together so, we made plans to get the girls together to make caramel apples!

O, what fun :D

we dipped our apples in caramel and rolled them in nuts, mnm's, sprinkles, and butterfingers! yummy!
