Bell Buckle Cafe

Aubree and I went and had lunch today with our main squeezes.
Shannon, Reagan, Dena, Aleyse, and Alayna. We went to a local restaurant, Bell Buckle Cafe.
An old run down place with lots of charm and really good food!
They had really good mac~n~cheese!
We let the girls play outside for a few then we headed home.
On the way there I noticed all of the beautiful flowers off the side of the road, so on
they way out we pulled off the side of the road so we could bring some home.
They will look beautiful on my table for Easter!

I'm 1

Aubree has learned a couple of new cute things this week, thanks to Nana :)
If you say Aubree, How old are you? She will hold up her pointer finger
to show you she is 1! It is one of the cutest things ever.
I'm working on trying to get the other things on video and I will post
when I catch them!

Date Nite!

This past Saturday night we had "date night". It is such a big deal because
we NEVER go out together (just the two of us) anymore. Not complaining, I was
having major Aubree withdraws, but we had a really good time! We met up with Shannon
and David and had dinner then played a couple games at the bowling alley.
We were all laughing and having fun, even David was cracking jokes!
What is so funny that i just realized is that bowling was Bryan and I's first date! Eight
years ago! We definitely do need to go out more often!

Aubree's New Playground

Bryan and I recently got Aubree a swing set. Bryan took a week of vacation to put
it together. Aubree always enjoys going to the park to play on the
playground so we decided to get her one for the back yard :)
It took Bryan and a couple of helpers, (thanks!) about 3 days to get it assembled.
She absolutely loves it. When she is in the kitchen and it catches her eye through the window
she will stop and point and smile! Her favorite's are the glider and the slide.
Daddy dressed her up and took her picture's while I was at work so papaw could see
her playing on it :)

family trip to the ZOO

We went to the Nashville Zoo today! We had a really good time even though we
FROZE!! Aubree was fascinated! We got to see your typical zoo animals. Elephants,
zebras, snakes, tigers, birds, fish, monkeys, ostrich, cougar, red panda, alligator, etc, etc.
Aubree's favorites were the fish, monkeys, and elephants! Her absolute most favorite
thing was riding the Carousel! She did deep belly laughs while they
were going around! We got her a zebra and here Nana got her a animal book
from the gift shop. Afterward we went to Famous Daves and had some awesome
Bar~B~Que :) Then my future sis~n~law and I went to Hobby Lobby
to buy some scrapbook stuff for our zoo trip. (my new obsession)
All of us really enjoyed our company and can't wait for them to visit again :)

The Parthenon

On our first day of our "family outing" we visited The Parthenon in downtown
Nashville. Even though Bryan and I live here we have never been. It was very
interesting and HUGE!! Good history lesson for us today :) We live so close to
lots of things to visit and see but never do, but after today we vowed
to visit more local attractions. We also went to the Opry Mills Mall. We shopped
til we dropped! Had a really good time and we all got some great stuff, however
we were so exhausted! We have enjoyed having our family down
and we are looking forward to tomorrow!
