al~ba~bo got an easter card in the mail today from

her papaw and faye.

she said yay! mommy, i wanna open that!

hippty hop! the easter bunny stopped!

whenever i woke up this morning, on my way in to get aubree up

and get her ready for church, i noticed someone special came by for aubree!

it was the easter bunny!

i ran in her room and told her to come look, the easter bunny had just left her a bunch of surprises....

albo must be one very special girl ;)

here we are... following tradition... dying easter eggs...

this was one of my favorite things to do as a kid.

we always had real dyed eggs, never any plastic eggs.

i hope to keep this going with albo :)

my mother's day pictures

i wanted to take some pictures for mother's day. there is nothing better than having your special blessings taken in photographs.

aubree is my everything.

so so very thankful that god allowed my to be her mother and he gave her to bryan and i.

fillin' eggs

After we laid the Albo down tonight the Easter Bunny came and kindly asked

Bryan and I to help him fill eggs for an Easter Egg hunt we are having on Saturday..

Of course, we couldn't say no ;)

So here we are! Stuffing eggs with candy and toys for the littles

coming over on Saturday!

Easter is one of my most favorite holidays :) My mom always made

it special for me. She always made me an extra special Easter Basket and I had so much fun as a kid going to my mamaw's house to find eggs.

I want to make it just a special for our baby.

lil' girls and lipstick

One of aubree's many new obsessions is lipstick. Any color, any brand, any finish... you get it, right?! The girl loves lipstick.

Sunday morning she was "playing" in her room while mommy was cleaning the kitchen.

Several minutes had gone by and I hadn't heard her make a peep.

Not asking me what i was doing, not singing to herself, or talking to her elmo and her baby dolls. So, I knew something was up!

Walk around the corner into her room and wa~la!

This is what i find.......

Notice the stripe of lipstick across her forehead? I can explain..

We have a forehead thermometer that you run across your head to check you temperature.

I had checked her temp earlier that morning.

When I walked in her room she was rubbing the lipstick back and forth across her head telling me with such seriousness,

MOMMY! I checkin my temperature!

These are the simple joys and moments that we live for :)
