Bryan and I went on vacation for the first time in three years.

We had such an amazing time! I had never been away from

my baby girl and I was very nervous, but she and I did just fine.

this was probably my favorite day. the golden door spa is to die for!

bryan and i had a couples massage, it was the best massage i have ever had. let alone the best spa i have ever been to.

the showers had multiple shower heads, a jacuzzi, steam room, tea room, etc..

loved it so much i went a second day :)

How do I look Papaw?

Aubree discovered Papaw's speakers and glasses :)

While Bryan and I were on vacation Aubree got to spend the

day with her papaw. I think they were able to do some bonding :)

He loves her very much and you can see how much she is going to have him wrapped :) I hope they get to spend more time together, she fell in love with her papaw!!

Papa's Sweet Berries

Every time Papa hears that we are on our way for a visit

he goes right outside and has lil albo some berries picked just for her.

He knows how much she loves them!!

Does this just not crack you up? There is nothing like raspberries and

blackberries right out of Papa's garden.

Aubree is totally in love with his berries and they have just the

right amount of sugar sprinkled on them to sweeten her up :)

She wasn't getting enough in with the spoon so she started

using her fingers.

Bow Snob

This is the cutest onesie ever. My mom bought it for her from our

favorite hand~made website, Etsy.

It fits me, I mean Aubree so well :) We will pair it with some cute leggings

and be the cutest baby in the world!

memorial day weekend~family reunion

Over Memorial Day weekend we went back home to visit our family. We

stayed with my mama so we got to visit with them at night and in the mornings.

We went to Bryan's family reunion. The place they have it is very secluded and pretty. It is a

cabin out in the middle of (nowhere) Virginia. It was the house the Bryan's

Great Great Grandmother was raised in. Yes, that makes it over a hundred

years old. It is a really cute piece of family history and is still maintained very well

by the family. We also visited my aunts, cousins, and grandmother in Virginia.

The time went by so fast :(

On our last day our dad cooked out for us! It was so yummy!! We stopped and visited

poppa and mandi then headed home :(

Can't wait to get back, it will only be 12 more days!!!!!

albo and justin. she loves him dearly.

no matter what or how long its been since our last visit she always

clings to him. she cries when he sets her down or walks away from her.

i offered to cover his moving expense if he would come live closer to us!

this is our aunt mandi. she sat down with a sugar cookie

covered in blue sprinkles. it instantly caught albo's eye and of course

wanted it and got it. mandi loves her so much. she showers

her with gifts and clothes. thank you!

My lil' Water Baby

We got Aubree this little pool at Target today. Here nana has a

pool where she lives and Aubree loves going swimming!

She has become a lil' fish :)

This is her first pool and we were all so excited!

The giraffe shoots water out of his mouth like a sprinkler. She is scared

of that though :( I thought this would be a good toy

for Aubree's little friends to play in this summer while the

adults are bar~b~queuing!

Daddy aired it up while she was napping and she noticed it first

thing when she woke up! She immediately pointed at the door to go outside.

True Aubree form, she loves, loves the slide.

I initially had to set on the slide to warm her up to it. Mama is way too big for this pool Albo!

Her best friend is Reagan, so I sometimes say

"do you wanna play with Reagan"

and she shakes her head yes! so come play with us reagie :)

Aubree's First Haircut :)

Today my little girl had her very first haircut. How sad this

was for not only me but bryan as well. He was so upset that he

couldn't be there with us today, but he did call and text several

times. She absolutely hated this experience above any other, including

trips to the doctor. She knew right from the moment we

walked in that we were there for her. Thank the Lord

that Trish had 2 bubble gum flavored lollipops to

calm her a little bit. I love that the rat tail is gone.

Take Time to Smell the Azaleas!!!

While we were shopping for landscaping plants for our yard we stumbled

across these BEAUTIFUL azaleas. I fell in love with them. They were in

full bloom and the most amazing color. Aubree thought smelling them was the greatest

thing, especially since they made her sneeze :)

I can not believe my sweet baby girl is already almost 2 :(

The time has flown by so fast, and i have enjoyed every second of her life. I have never known unconditional love this way before.

Aubree brings so much happiness to my life, she completes me.

I am so thankful for my lil' blessing :)

She was so sweet today, i was convinced that she knew it was

mother's day. Today was one of those days where only mommy

would do, i love those days!
