bar~b~que goodness!

do you ever get in a dinner rut? we certainly do. spaghetti, taco's, chicken & rice, etc.......

i was looking up recipes the other night to try and find something new to try. i come across this recipe from paula deen, barbecue chicken baked potatoes. oh my goodness how delicious!

i wanna share with all you guys!

put your chicken in a crock pot. mix your favorite barbecue sauce with cumin, onion powder, cumin, hot sauce, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce. simmer for 4 hrs.

take your baking potatoes drizzle with olive oil and coarse sea salt and ground black pepper.

wrap individually with foil and bake on 425 for one hour.

slice potatoes and put butter and shredded cheese then top with your shredded barbecue chicken.

i made deviled eggs, slaw, and baked beans to go with! it was amazing!!

we got to keep reagan a few hours yesterday. aubree enjoyed every second of her playtime with rae~rae. she doesn't get to have her over to our house to play much. they spend most of their time together at katie's. it was a real treat for us!

family photo time.....again.....

while we were back home for albo's birthday we had a family photo session with mandi, a girl that i graduated high school with. she did such a good job! these are a few of my favorites :)

walden punkin farm

we visited walden farms today! we loved it so much last year and we knew albo would be able to enjoy more that they offered since she was a year older. we were right! she had a blast. she didn't wanna leave!

it was a little overwhelming for her. they had a pumpkin train ride, pigs, cow, chickens, and goats (aubree's personal favorite), corn maze, pumpkin match, a big activity center for kids, etc.......

we enjoy picking out the pumpkin we are gonna carve together on halloween and of course we had to get a huge mum for our porch :)

aubree having her "treat" a candy corn sucker. it was such a seasonal sucker you in kinda sucker so she (i) had to have it.

aubree thought this was the perfect pumpkin for us! she was cute tryin to pick it up. making grunting sounds and straining.

she LOVED the goats. she cried when we walked, no drug her away from them. she said no, please! please!

this is absolutely priceless. she is showing you for herself just how much she is in love with the goats. i think we should put a little goat farm in the back yard :)

aubree's 2!

well my baby girl turned 2 this past weekend....... :(

one of the saddest days for me in a long time, but we really celebrated!

i have been planning for months for her birthday. i was very happy with the way it turned out! albo got to have two parties. one here in murfreesboro with our closest friends and one back home in kingsport with our family. we are so very blessed with the people in our lives. all the people that came to the parties and all the gifts albo received was amazing. we had so much fun spending time with our friends/family this past weekend! thank you so so much for every one that came to spend time with us! she loves you all and bryan and i do too!!!
