santa came to see albo at home!

Santa Claus came to town!! We've been waiting on him for months.
Aubree must have been a pretty good lil' girl.
We sat him out some cookies and milk by the fireplace and read the Night Before Christmas Book before we went to bed and we were so excited to see what he would drop us off :)

When we asked Aubree what she wanted Santa to bring her she said a baby and a baby stroller.
Santa must have known that she likes walking dogs on a leash and putting things to bed (me, bryan, fiona etc..) so he brought her a baby bed too!

here is the sleepy girl coming into the living room to see her surprises!

it took her a couple minutes to get woke up and figure out what was going on. she immediately flocked to the stroller and the baby!
what she asked for :)

she absolutely loves its. i haven't been so excited for Christmas to come as i have this year in soo long!
My favorite Christmas ever, so far!

Aubree is a good mommie's helper. she likes helping me get things and put clothes in and out of the washer and dryer.
this is a perfect gift for her, her own little ironing board set.

as soon as she would open a present, she would say mommy daddy open this! so sweet :)
it took A-W-H-I-L-E to get all her gifts open for this reason but so worth the memory.

this is a little baking set to go with her kitchen. it come with a mixer, a cookie sheet, some cookies, spatula, and a rolling pin!

this is a mommy/albo gift. she absolutely must have her music on in the car!

daddy was nervous about this gift! i think she is going to have so much fun with these in the spring. with the help of the helmet and knee pads papaw got her for her birthday.

opening her toaster set for her kitchen! these kid kraft accessories are so adorable!

walking her puppy dog! she say mon' dog!

opening her stocking! it was filled with goodies!!!

Merry Christmas, we can't wait to come in to visit our family next week!!!!

cookies for santa

we had the girls over to bake santa cookies and have lunch. we had
an awesome day, in spite of our girls having the crud we carried on.
aubree and reagan having lunch. we had chicken finger, mac and cheese, bagel bites, and fruit for the kiddies!
aubree says "mommie, more chicken!"

here are the girls aubree, reagan, and jana all lined up across the island ready to get the fun started!

here are our supplies!

and again.......

this is our pretty party ware, lol. i love being festive :)

aubree was really into it and loved the cookie cutter process, she would throw her cutter on the dough before shannon had a chance to get it rolled out :)

look how sweet these little round faces are, even though they had a cold
they made the most of their day and had so much fun.

we had three cookie sheets and we could only put about 6-8 cookies on a sheet at a time. needless to say we had about 5 dozen cookies and it took forever to get all those cookies baked!!

reagan and shannon decorating their cookie.
there were sprinkles EVERYWHERE!!

aubree holding the icing can so tight. you would try to take it from her to try and encourage her to share... she would say, NO! MINE!
their new favorite phrase...
my least favorite phrase...................

lil' jana

reagan with a very pretty and meaningful smile.

mama and baby love...

aubree icing the cookies! so sweet to watch. she was focused and trying so hard.

reagan doing the same thing. so "into it"

ta~da!! the finished product. they look like they were made by a bunch of two year olds so we'll just say they did it all ;0)

aubree saying all done with her icing covered hands and face!!

we sure hope Santa enjoys his cookies!
Merry Christmas!

ICE!

We went to ICE! tonight with our close friends the Ballard's.
ICE is a pretty amazing thing that comes to Nashville every year. It is about 1.5 million pounds of ice sculptured and kept at a freezing 9 degrees.
Everything is sculpted out of ice! It is amazing! We walked through the exhibit with cold noses and numb fingers but has so much fun.
Aubree really did enjoy it.
The theme this year was Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
Mckayla took aubree down the ice slide and we had a reindeer sucker and hot chocolate at the end!
hopefully... another family tradition....
