our first trick~r~treat

halloween at the Hall's was nothing short of a success!

we had a few of our close friends over for a little kiddie halloween party!

we trick or treated, made caramel apples and spiced cider, had some pizza, face painting, and a lot of playing!!

its going to be a "family" tradition for us from now on!

here is part of the gang in our make shift hay ride, i'll explain later.

anyway, aubree wanted nothing to do with it! she said NO!!

she rode in the stroller beside of us and katie was nice enough to push her around.

lovebug aka "jana". she is eating a kit kat from her halloween candy after she had a pumpkin painted on her face.

the bestie being such a good sport and letting MyKayla paint a bat on her face. she so didnt want to do this but we made her!

lovebug, ask her what she was for halloween and she says a Meow!

i got a spider painted on my face. mckayla did such a good job!

and she is so good with the kiddies.

she's a keeper and i think we'll have her around for a while ;)

our friend doug and sweet baby olivia. not sure where katie was for the picture, but we have been friends for almost 7 years and i love her dearly!!

ok here we go. our subdivision is fairly new where the houses are few and far between. not ideal for taking toddlers trick or treating. so i thought! why not hook up the trailer to the riding mower. better yet why not make it festive! so we threw in some hay, tied a cornstalk to the back, stood up a scarecrow, and added some pumpkins!!

it turned out super cute and the kids loved it, well everyone except for aubree. maybe she'll come around next year.

hi mommy!

this is what i hear when i walk up on aubree doing something she

knows she shouldn't be doing. for example playing in my makeup.

she knows exactly how each piece is used is what i find amusing.

anyway, i thought it was cute watching her play in my makeup and

watching her put it on :)

as you can see she has the lids off of everything and giving herself

a total makeover....

that's my girl!

Mail's Here!!

aubree got mail!! we were playing outside when the mail ran so i went to check it. i noticed aubree had a letter so i thought we better let her open it inside with the camera :)

low and behold she got a halloween card from her

uncle teddy and aunt susie! the pictures posted backwards, but she slowly opened the card, then she pointed out there was a cat on the front and the cat says meow and a pumpkin too! she opened it up and money fell out. she said mommy!! money!!

thank you so much for thinking of aubree teddy and susie. it was

very sweet and thoughtful!

the bug besties

aubree got to spend all day saturday with the ballard's!

albo's home and there are leaves on the ground!!

aubree is home!! it is going to be a long long time before i am gonna let

her leave again. it was harder this time than ever. i often found myself sitting in her room, playing with her toys, and going through her clothes. i even caught bryan sneaking in her room a few times.

needless to say we missed her very much.

it was PERFECT weather outside today. after we got home from

church we changed our clothes and headed outside to "pay" (play).

we tried to carve a pumpkin we got at the pumpkin patch, rode our

bicycles and the beep, and played in the leaves!

we attempted to include albo on the pumpkin carving. she was very interested at first. we were talking to her about doing it and telling her how much fun it would be! she stuck her hand down in it to help daddy clean it out.... then she was DONE!! she said eeww mommie!!

she wanted absolutely nothing else to do with that slimy pumpkin.

her face here says exactly how she felt about the entire pumpkin

carving experience!

since she came home friday night we have probably kissed

each other around a million times. i missed my baby.

i love this face. she was belly laughing while we were throwing the

leaves around outside.

i think the words on her shirt sums it up :)

date nite!

so albo went to stay with my mom for the week to visit everybody.

i know she will have fun but i will really miss her :(

positive note..

bryan and i have VERY VERY few nights out to ourselves so we totally

took advantage of the opportunity.

Our Colts were playing sunday night football so we went over to

Buffalo Wild Wings to watch it on the big screens!

We had some amazing nachos, wings, and fries! yummy!

we had a good time hanging out. oddly enough we talked

about our baby girl 90% of the time :)

these wings were soooo good. bryan had the spicy garlic &

i had the hot barbecue! we shared with each other too :)

~bell buckle craft fair~

we started our day shopping over in the avenue. albo and i

got rae rae's birthday present and my mom got her a new pair

of shoes :)

when daddy got home we ventured over to bell buckle for their annual

craft fair. (good free entertainment) we even got to park for free!!

we had a ball! funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, chicken on a stick, and kettle korn!!

we just had fun walking around looking at all the "junk".

i didn't take many pictures. aubree wanted to push the stroller, not ride in it to make our lives easier. plus it was VERY crowded.

my mom and step-dad came down for the weekend, it was also my mom's birthday so we "celebrated". we ordered pizza and i made a

banana pudding, (paula deen style) it was so delicious!
